QuestionI am looking for a GE microwave to fit an opening of 25.5 w x13 h X 17 d. Is there a microwave and trim kit that can be used in the space? The total interior space is 28. w by 14.5 high. I could cut a wider opening, but prefer not to.

- Answer Hi Hope- Our GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31SFSS can be installed in a 16 minimum cabinet depth (receptacle outside cabinet). The cutout height is approximately 15" and width 24 7/8". QuestionHello. I am looking for a microwave/trim combo that would work for a 24" x 16" x 11.5" (w/h/d) opening. Finding a microwave that is shallow enough for the space is hard. Will any of these work, perhaps by coming slightly out from cabinet?

You would need at least 16"D (with receptacle outside of cabinet) to install GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31SFSS with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827SFSS. QuestionI am replacing a PEB7226SFSS with the 27" trim kit. I'm looking for what options are comparable. GE told me PES7227SFSS and trim kit for JX7227SLSS. Is this one compatible with that model too? What other options do I have?

Countertop Microwave Oven Model #:PEB7226SFSS needs replacing and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The replacement "built-in ready" model is GE Profile™ 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven Model #: PEB7227ANDD. This is our "stainless" model, meaning that it is the model that is paired with other stainless appliances. The door and control is the same dark gray (Dark Dorian) used on the stainless oven door and control panel, as well as the accents and case sides on other stainless appliances. Model #: PEB7227ANDD is compatible with 27" Trim Kit JX7227SLSS (Stainless) and 30" Trim Kit JX7230SLSS (Stainless) sold separately. This microwave is a countertop only model; it is not approved or designed for a built-in installation. There is not a compatible trim kit available for the microwave JES1657SM1SS.
