Q: Bought a GE JES2051SN4SS. Is this trim kit compatible?

A: I had a GE microwave that had a Trim kit, when the microwave died, I replaced it with the JES2051SN4SS and it fit in the same hole and trim kit I already had. I have had it in the cabinet for over a year without issue. My Island cabinet is pretty large, and the microwave has plenty of room to breath.

Q: I have a discontinued GE Profile Spacemaker II Model PEM31SM3SS that I need to replace. It is built into my cabinet so size is an issue. Do you have any recommendations of any microwave with a trim kit that would be the same approx. size?

Q: Hi. I need to replace a GE Profile (JE1640GA 001) which has a vent and trim kit. The cavity is 24 1/8 x 17 1/2 X 17 3/4 (w x h x d). What is best GE Profile replacement unit and correct trim kit? thanks

A: I replace My JE1640GA with PEB7227DL3BB, with minor change.

Q: Long story very short, I purchased this trim kit (JX827SFSS) inadvertently. I now have a kitchen remodel it will work great with and would like to know which microwave(s) are compatible with it.

Q: Is there a trim kit that would work for model GCST11X1W1SS? The opening is 24.75 w x 15 h

A: Model GCST11X1W1SS is a countertop only microwave. It is not compatible with any trim kits and should not be installed into cabinetry.

Q: Hi my old GE Model No. PEM31SM1SS Serial No. 901888 B went out. It had a bracket on the bottom with screws attached and top of it as well , and a trim kit around the front. Can you please suggest a replacement model that would work? Thank you

A: Our new model PCHK11S1WSS is the closest replacement. The 27" trim kit that fits this model is the JX827SFSS. This new kit will be needed to provide a built-in application and sufficient air circulation. Jill@GEAppliances
