“The warranty says it covers large TV in your home. I cannot find the def of what is consider large. I bought a 49 inch. The salesperson said it would be covered but probably would have said anything to get the additional ring.”

You should be covered. I recently purchased a 49" tv at Best Buy. The Geek Squad have been to my house to repair my new faulty tv. In house service is included.
