Yes, the remote control can control all features of the system. You can switch from cd, radio, bluetooth, etc with the remote. You can change the radio stations or change the songs when a cd is playing.

Please try again later.If used appropriately, the remote controls everything you'll need and has a display that shows all the available selection: CD, FM, AUX for use with an outside source like a turntable or possibly an Ipod, (I'm using mine to improve sound for my TV), and even a usb stick. The display shows the volume, treble, and bass gain in numbers up to 40, and also the equalization selection (jazz, rock, classical, etc to give you a profile appropriate for that genre.
