A:AnswerIf you have the warranty in force, then the coverage should apply. If not you either buy a new remote or search for a universal remote that will work with your model.
A:AnswerIf your going to wall mount, you may need to move the furniture. With me it was just remove old tv put new in its place. The technician’s that came to my house even packed up the old tv and moved to my garage. Very helpful
A:AnswerFrom the Geek squad member who installed my TV mount, if they can locate a stud, or concrete wall behind the plaster wall, they can install it.
A:AnswerActually we had it installed in February and have not turned on the gas fireplace . We were told as long as we did not pull tv mount in lower position that the measurements used to mount should keep a heat issue away
A:AnswerDelivery does not include set-up. It does cost some money, but geek squad does a good job. Hanging a wall mount TV and hiding the cables in the wall, especially a large TV, is tricky for a novice and absolutely requires help. Geek Squad will be in and out in less than an hour, solve any issues that come up, assume the risk with installation, and will set up the TV before they leave, and even explain and demonstrate how to change picture quality options if you ask. Or, you can do it yourself, try to figure out the instructions, hope you get it right, hope the manufacturer included all the parts in the box, risk dropping a new and expensive TV, and Google the TV set-up. You should be able to get all that done in 5 or 6 hours, assuming nothing goes wrong. For me, it was well worth knowing that if something went wrong, like a bracket missing in the packaging (yes, this happened), the Geek Squad techs would be able to figure it out, get the new part immediately, and get it completed. I could have done it myself as I'm pretty handy, have the tools, and can read instructions. I know I would have ended up ticked off about the missing bracket and the hassle of getting through to customer service to resolve it, probably needing to drive somewhere to get it (if they even had it), and ended up a pretty dissatisfied customer. But, I chose to pay the money, and ended up happy enough to take the time to write a long review. Only you can decide what your time and peace of mind s worth.
A:AnswerWe purchased our tvs but there was a wait time for delivery on one tv so they Held the other tv and I ordered the mount gear then they delivered and installed in same day
A:AnswerWe live in a manufactured home type mobile home and the large mount we purchased a few months before buying our t.v. didnt work because the bolts were longer then how wide our wall is. We placed the t.v. instead on a free standing electric fireplace.
