“Is there anyway to adjust the "smoothing effect" so the picture does not not have the "soap opera" effect when using the Netflix or Amazon Video App that are installed on the TV? We have found these settings for the blu ray player connected to the TV.”

• I simply press * symbol on the remote and then select advanced picture settings and then change the action smoothing to none. this stops the tv from doing the actions smoothing

• Yes you can, but for me it made little difference and still has the Soap Opera Effect on both streaming and cable. It is so bad, we are considering gong back to our 55" 1080 TV.
