Power on, disc in and it says no disc. We turn on the players and it says it is loading but then tells us that there is no disc inside. Tried cleaning the lens with a disc cleaner cd but that wont even load.

Yep. We had the same problem. Tried everything. Worked for a total of 4 hours for us. We had a Mickey Mouse DVD in their the first hour, and a Barney DVD the other 3. All regular DVDs. We tried everything.

Might not play if it's blue ray or if the disc is dirty or scratched

We sprayed the opened tray with canned air & it hasn't had any other problems.

Make sure you are inserting the discs with the label facing you. Also make sure you are only using region 1 discs or audio cds. If multiple discs do not work, you may want to take the set into the Best Buy store to the Geek Squad for warranty evaluation.
