• According to Google here: https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps this model is in the Planned stage for PlayStore and Android app support.

• Not yet. My understanding is that this device is on the list to receive an update that will give you access to the Google Play Store. Not sure when that will happen though. Also not sure how useful it will be since many of the android apps are designed for smartphones with a touch screen. Right now, only some of the newer Chromebooks with touchscreens can take full advantage of this. However, if it is an app that you can navigate with a keyboard it should work whenever the update happens. Hope this answer helps.
