The computer itself works great. Boots up almost instantly and runs smoothly. Just make sure you have a printer that is Google Cloud Print compatible. Spent days trying to figure out how to get the system to recognize my Dad's printer. Had to buy a new one in the end, then everything worked fine.

When I purchased this Chromebox there was the general expectation that it would be able to run Linux and Android apps. After two years they never showed up so I followed a method I found online and removed ChromeOS and installed in its place Peppermint Linux. It actually boots faster than ChromeOS. Amazing and there is more storage space on that tiny 16gig SDD.

With just one HDMI cable, I connected the chromebox to my 55 inch HD TV. Now I can read the online news and watch all sorts of youtube programs on a big screen. The chromebox is just like the tower of a desktop except it is much smaller and simpler to use.

Like the Energizer Bunny this Chromebox just keeps on running without even a hiccup. Once the promised Android apps are added I will return to give it 5 stars.

Bough this for simple Chrome internet, YouTube & emails. The Bluetooth isn't very good. Which is one of the main reasons why I bought it. Drops off & disconnects constantly.

This chrome box is great for specific purposes. I wouldn't push it too far though.

Really like this for presentations done on an 85 inch TV. Works really well with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Its a Google operating system, so know that ahead of time. (don't think this will come loaded with Windows)

I have long been a fan of the chromebook. It is the best computer on the market if you are not a "superuser." I Love the chromebox design - all I do is hook it up to my monitor, keyboard, and mouse and boom I am done. It is up and running in seconds and is able to do everything I could ever need to do on a computer. Do be aware, it does not have built in speakers, but if your monitor has speakers you are good to go. It also supports bluetooth so you can use bluetooth speakers as well! Overall incredibly powerful and slim device. It does come with a keyboard and mouse, but I used my own since I prefer wireless.

Should have read more carefully. Doesn’t allow google play. Not Windows comparable.

This product would rate a 5 star if there was no problem with audio port. Every time I tried plugging my speaker, there is an electrical noise discharge coming out of my speaker. This problem exist of all Acer chromeboxes. I hope Acer can fix this problem in there new iteration that comes out. Yes, I tried replacing the chromebox; but no such luck. The problem still is encountered.

I have a Gateway which is now ACER. And its only 3 years old and dead to the world. You have been warned
