“I have a screenbeam older version that was given me from my business partner that does not work with my laptop. It says it’s paired to tv but can not connect. Why or what do I need to make this work? It’s a smart tv and I’m running windows 10 on laptop”

My son has same problem i gave him one that i bought as a Christmas gift 2018 and it want work come to find out they sold me an old version. on the box his was a 2014 model and i looked at mine it's a 2018
