You can purchase 2 copies; I own 2 copies for the same reason. I'm not sure if you can buy them both during the same transaction because I bought mine on 2 seperate purchases. You will definitely have to download them to seperate accounts via Microsoft Store after you purchase so that you can both play. Hope this helps...
