I remember playing this game many years ago and got excited yet skeptical about it for the console. But the updated graphics and smooth controller play is great! Tons of content and super challenging game. I play it everyday

Classic old school game. I used to play and picked it up again. I needed the tutorial to help me remember best strategies, which I would recommend. There are great tips available. A fun and easy way to spend an hour on the computer. Plus the harder levels are really challenging and you can lose, unlike some games that really just let you win, but more slowly at higher levels.

Playing this on my PC in high definition is a blast. If you loved the first AOE Definitive Edition, why not add AOE II Definitive Edition as well? I can tell you that after the install, be sure to download and install the updates as well; there is a high def graphics patch to download. This game brings backs memories. Haven't gone through the entire game as of yet, but is worth $20. Just sad that these games are now digital only.

I get to relive my younger days playing this game. I wish they had the option to buy a physical copy, but even with the digital copy, it's definitely worth having the chance to play this again.

Very nice game I must say I played the Age of Empires hundreds of times so makes sense that I like the the definitive edition also.

Graphics remastered are great and amazing to see a huge multiplayer group of people worldwide still playing the classic game.

Most people may not have this problem, but make sure you know what version of windows you have. I was told the easiest way to tell was open the windows icon menu and if it was just in the bottom left corner you were running 10. Well i did and is is but im running 7. Granted I'm not too computer savvy. Game is great but I now have a $20 set of numbers and letters that i can use.
