“I’m in a dilemma here. I cannot decide which to get, monitor or tv. I have ps4 pro which Ive been playing COD on my 15yr old 1080p lcd. Who knows whats the response & refresh rate is. But I also want to watch cable tv(European soccer) on it too. TN is out”

PS4 Pro doesn't exceed 60Hz. You should only buy this monitor if it's for competitive gaming. It definitely will not make you happy if you want to watch TV on it or play PS4 Pro on it. I would get LG OLED TV for your case.
