Yes, the directions say that AliveCor can monitor and record your results. You must agree to it prior to use. I have no problem with AliveCor monitoring my results, however, I understand that some people may not like that.

Everywhere one can apparently opt out of marketing emails and the third party sharing is not too bad. They do say explicitly that if the business is bought out or changes hands all users will be notified and have the option to have their data deleted.
