My phone is only an Android 7 & it works. Just download the free APP. If you have difficulties getting it to start, just move your phone a little closer to the device & in 30 seconds you'll get the results. I like that I can e-mail a copy of the device results (which look just like an EKG test) to myself so I can keep track of his AFib. So far I really like this device.
