Recently purchased this Alpine radio but have not been able to select system since I've gotten it. Is there something I need to do to be able to click on the system button on the screen? null

You may need to invest in the MicroBypass device. Vehicles such as my.own don't have a parking brake wire. For safety reasons, the Alpine unit needs that wire to know when your parking brake is activated so that you can safely navigate the menus. The bypass fools it into thinking the brake is on, even if it's not.

Try setting and releasing the parking brake a few times, then leave it on. I had to do this to join Bluetooth devices.

Drive car to 5 mph. Stop and engage parking break. That should do it
