The instillation was supposed to be free with the purchase of the unit. I had it installed on a previous vehicle. I was impressed with the unit and service so much that I bought a second unit. The day before it was supposed to be installed however Best Buy closed their installation services due to COVID19. I was disappointed , but I respect their decision . I do feel I could have been offered an earlier date and/or some other type of compensation for my trouble. I hope this helps.
