• A:Answer Same exact issue. Looks like alpine is just a piece of garbage. I paid $700 not including installation and I’d better be off with cheap head unit sound quality. Lost faith in alpine.

• A:Answer I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and it works great. As far as length of install all depends on many factors such as the vehicle it’s going in, installation experience, etc. If you’re not familiar with car audio installs I believe Best Buy does installs for cheap if you purchase it from them.
