Questionhave an Alpine ina w900 in my jeep wrangler, but adding an alpine back up camera. Thought this may be time to upgrade the receiver as well to this Alpine ilx w650. Did anyone else upgrade from the w900 to be able to compare quality?

QuestionI have hooked up the head unit and it has sound when the key is on the ACC but if you crank up the truck no sound. Could this be because I haven't hooked up the Parking Brake wire? Or could this be from a different issue.

QuestionHow many USB ports does it have and how many USB devices can be connected at the same time? If I need Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, I need to connect phone thru USB port. In the same time, if I want to connect a USB drive to play songs, is that supported?

- Answer I believe U can by clicking settings on main screen, camera, then U will have three screens. I believe the first has arrows to allow this.

- Answer Yes this unit does have an input for rear and also front camera. As far as cameras. I just bought the special of the day and it’s worked pretty good.

- Answer It will work with the back up camera but it does not have NAV. But if you use a iPhone you can use your maps app through the head unit with apple car play. And any other app that is compatible with apple car play.

QuestionAccording to the website, the Hummer H3 requires that the rear bracket be removed or cut out for this to be installed. This reminds me of GMs prior 1.5-DIN units. But since this receiver is so short, is that REALLY necessary? Same for ? '07-'13 GM pickups
