The wattage of the speaker drivers are rated at 5 watts and 4 ohms. There are two 40mm drivers In The unit. The back of the unit has a passive bass Radiator. The bass response and the EQ are entirely up to you and your devices music software. The on board DSP of the speaker handles bass very well... The sound is clean, rich, and deep. I use Power Amp as my phone's music player and the speaker has moved from the bass in some tracks. I'd recommend some rubber feet for the bottom.
