A:AnswerUnlikely. It has a pretty good tuner, better than some TV's but do not expect miracle.
For more channels you may need an outdoor antenna and/or antenna cable amplifier (as close to antenna itself as possible).
Hein.
A:AnswerYip. Same here, with respect to the audio video sync issue. I haven’t recorded yet, and probably will not now. It is still better than the tuner on my older tv., and cheaper than a new tv with refined tuning circuitry.
A:AnswerYes. Download the user manual and go to page 15. The Timeshift info is where this is documented.

A:AnswerYou can watch them anywhere you can open the video file. If you want to use the device and remote to watch recordings back then press the USB button. Select the PVR option, find the folder where the recordings are being saved, select the recording and press OK. When the recording starts to play it will be in a small area of the screen. If you press the HOLD button the recording will switch to full screen viewing.
If you want to watch the recordings on another device then unplug the USB storage and plug it into another device that plays video files.
A:AnswerIt works best with an outdoor antenna. But if you live close to the TV transmitter towers, you could try an indoor antenna and see if you get all the local stations.
My outdoor antenna is on a 30 foot tower, so I can see stations about 40 miles away.
If your Sony TV has a spare HDMI input port, you should buy an HDMI cable. Or you can use the included 3 wire RCA cable (video, left & right audio).
There is also a Coax output that can provide RF Channel 3 output for people with the old analog TVs..
A:AnswerNope, unless your security camera is plugged into a HDTV transmitter. This device is designed to use an antenna to pick up over-the-air HDTV stations. It does not have a video INPUT.
A:AnswerIt can pick up over-the-air HDTV signals and turn them into old fashioned TV set NTSC RF signals. A North American standard. Not for over-seas.
The F-connector marked RF Output will give you channel 3 or 4 NTSC (menu selected).
