Will this work on a 2018 Dodge Journey? null

If the CarPlay or Android Auto icon on your car stereo does not show unless your iPhone or Android phone is plugged into the car -- directly via USB -- then the adapter will likely not work with your vehicle. Some vehicles only get the app from the phone and do not have the software built into the vehicle. So definitely give it a try but don't wait too long to return if it's not compatible.
