A:AnswerThis refrigerator is with hinges is 70 inches tall and 36 inches wide and would be to large for your space. The only thing I can say is Best Buy's has a person that can come to your home and Measure your space and recommend a refrigerator that would work for your particular needs. That being said you have to make a appointment for this person to come to your home in advance. I have a 15 year old home and it is a counter space, so it is important to get as close as you can to that space without paying to have a custom made refrigerator for that space. The prices are Outrageously high. I had this problem and so my refrigerator sticks out about 8 inches Beyond the counter, but works just fine. You also that to consider that do you have to have 2 inches for the back of the to breathe and 1 inch for each side of the refrigerator and the top to breathe. In another words you can't push the refrigerator back flush against the wall, and for the sides and top you have to have the ability to move it in or out. That is why you want to have it measured by professional , but don't let them talk you into buying a custom made one. A lot of refrigerators are not made to last a long time, and expensive. Do your research on on your side by side's before selecting and get a good extended warranty. My last new refrigerator got a Freon leak and was less than 3 years old. A Freon leak can be fixed, but from my experience, twice before the warranty ran out. And it happened again after the warranty ran out and still, had to buy a new refrigerator. The year of Old refrigerators lasting 15 and 20 years are over when looking for a long lasting refrigerator. Get a warranty.
