Q: How long does it take to make ice an how much from the first batch should I throw away? Add which snowflake represents really cold setting

A: Ice maker took a good 24 hours the first time to make ice. My installer recommended throwing out the first 3 bins as to assure clean ice there after. Also run about 3 or 4 gallons of water from the dispenser to clean the lines before using.

A: Yes it is loud, not the motor but something whistles inside and they are calling it the motor, motors don’t whistle
