Yes. This model does support home automation. Depending on the devices that you’re looking for, they may require an associated hub for automation purposes. There are some manufacturers like TP Link that provide light control modules that can be directly operated via the Amazon echo. Of course there are also home entertainment systems that can be controlled via the Amazon echo. You just have to search them out. BTW I have a Whirlpool microwave that can be operated by my amazon echo 2 and Whirlpool manufacturers many new smart appliances they can be operated via the echo 2. I hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can buy the special outlets that are compatible. Then just ask Alexa to "turn on the living room light". You can also manually turn the light off by holding your finger over a sensor on the outlet. Works pretty easy.
