• Quite sure that it will. I asked it to Play nature sounds this morning for the same reason. I was hearing rain and thunder. It did drown out the outside noise so I could sleep

• Yes it does, you need to sign up for one of the free music (iheartradio, pandora, etc ....) or if you're a amazon prime member they all have some type of nature sounds.
