Can I control my tv channels with this null

Hello, That depends. With just the dot, no, but with another compatible device, possibly. If you have a recent Smart TV that has Alexa built in, you could control your TV, but Cable Boxes are a whole other category, and act on their own. You could get a 3rd party device such a smart remote system that takes all of your remotes and puts it into one device, and then you can control that device with the Echo. Hope that helps.
