“Can anyone who’s owned a Gen 3 Echo Speaker compare that to this new Gen 4 speaker? Overall is sound about as same quality, better...? They are both priced to within 5 dollars now and trying to decide to get a 2nd Gen 3 (which I love) or try the Gen4.”

I have 2 3 4th and now the 4th premium hub the hub is much better the sound quality is OMG you won't go wrong I love the bass yes they are big like a canolope but they fit in I have all 4 color the 4th color is red on Amazon but the sound is much better

If you are referring to the dot, then the difference is negligible. If you mean the regular Echo, the 4th gen is much, much better in sound quality and Alexa performance.
