Echo Auto serves as a bridge linking Alexa to your car audio from your phone. Unlike home-focused Echo products, the Echo Auto depends on your phone for data. Its built-in mic can transmit audio to and from your phone with Bluetooth or the 3.5mm audio jack, but no computing is done on the device. It can be brought indoors but as I said above it depends on your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess it “could” work at home, but it’s not practical at all. It is very limited. The speaker wouldn’t be loud enough. I also think it responds much slower than the Echo Dots I have at home.
