“My auto echo has been hit or miss lately. It starts by showing "loading" for a while and then starts playing for a few seconds, then goes back to loading. I bought it in February 2020. Is it giving up the ghost?”

I have seen this happen on my Auto Echo also. It normally happens when you get into a poor cellphone signal spot and Alexa cannot connect to the internet then. You may have to wait for it to restart or just turn off the echo and restart it after a few minutes.. It is very similar to what happens with your Satellite radio signal....

One thing you can try to removing it from your devices list and follow the instructions to reset it back up in the Alexa app. That usually fixes any connectivity issues you may be having.
