Yes. We have used it with our Verizon mifi and kit worked great since we don't have internet service in our condo. It used a lot of data though. We were playing music though.

It'll work with any Wifi network that allows you to connect without a webpage. I suspect it will not work in a hotel or similar location that requires a webpage login, but you will be good to go on any Wifi network that is either straight up open or requires a regular password (which you enter through the Alexa app on your mobile device as part of setup).
