You have to sync it with your smartphone or tablet Then your iTunes, Spotify or pandora account
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My best suggestion is to use the Alexa App on your friend's phone or pad. It has a section there for music and it will then link you to several radio stations that you can stream. It should also just play a compilation of music when you ask it to. There are some music that it won't play without having an Amazon music account but there are plenty of other ways to play streaming music. If that doesn't help you may need to take it back to Best Buy. Good luck with it.

We tried to add a gift to our Amazon account that already had our Alexa's subscription. It wouldn't take. You either have to pay more for a friend and family music account or put it under a different Amazon Account
