Not sure. We have it hooked up by bluetooth. There are bluetooth adapters that might help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can connect it to your stereo. For my hook-up it required a cable with a stereo 1/8" plug to plug into the DOT and the other end of the cable with RCA phono plugs to go into my stereo aux input. Works great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will connect to a standard RCA audio (red and white) input on your stereo receiver. You will need a 3.5mm stereo to Dual RCA plug cable. Note: The Echo Dot speaker is diabled when you connect the 3.5mm stereo plug into it. If your stereo is turned off you will not get any voice responses from the Echo Dot.
