They both are voice assitants beyond that you need to research witch is best for you and what you want it to do it to do amazon doesn't play well with google so both have very different capabilities

They both does so much but it's more of a preference, so I got each.. Echo doesn't have a search engine like google home does.. 2. Echo has Bluetooth and google does not have so music would have to be streamed to chrome cast and that's more money

Google home is closer to the Echo. The dot is a low cost poor sounding mini version of Echo. With Google home we all know that with any Google product or service you are giving up all rights to your privacy. They will track, monitor, record and sell anything they can on you!!!
