The Echo Dot is a device made by Amazon and with that being said I would most definitely suggest contacting Amazon directly for any issues or suggestions that you may have on their devices. However, to be completely honest with you, your thoughts and concerns may fall upon deaf ears through a regular customer service call as that person will have no say over what the engineers do to their products. I am sure this is not the answer you were looking for, but sadly it is most likely the truth As I am sure you can understand.

Regarding suggestions about features for older people with medical problems, the best place is to Google the "Amazon Alexa Developer Forums". Amazon will not address specific suggestions as there are too many ideas and they most likely do not have the resources to address even a fraction of these.
