• The Echo Dot is the small version of Alexa. It is a little larger than a hockey puck in size. The echo Dot is made to actively listen for the name Alexa to be announced at which point it will follow the commands requested such as Alexa play my favorite song.

• The DOT is an AMAZON ECHO without the stereo sound. It has a built in speaker with good quality, but not stereo. The functionality is identical to the full size ECHO.
