• Yes. It is powered by a usb cable so you should be able to plug it to a 12v USB adapter Note: you need a constant internet connection for it to work.

• I read an article that confirmed you could power an Echo Dot in a car, but these devices need wireless internet access to work, so your car would need to be equipped with wi-fi or you'd need a portable device (phone, tablet) that can be used as a mobile hotspot.

• No you would have to have unlimited data and I have satellite radio that works for all kinds of music. I don't have unlimited data
