• A:Answer Yes. If it's a specific local station just be sure to ask for all of the numbers in the station. Fir example: "Alexia, play 1073 JAMZ". If you know the service that the station uses to play the station say, "Alexia, play 1073 JAMZ on Tune-in". This tells Alexia exactly where to go to get the station faster. If you want a station from anywhere, say, Alexia, play me some Jazz music". Alexia will then go out and find you some jazz music.

• A:Answer Hi MelB, The Echo Dot has a feature called FreeTime that you can enable. To access it in the Alexa Application, you would select Devices, and the specific device you are looking to set parental controls on. You would then select Freetime and enable. Freetime allows you to pause devices, set daily time limits, and add content to the device. Have a great day!

• A:Answer I assume by wireless, you mean portable. The unit requires to be plugged in, but you can buy a 3rd party rechargeable battery as an add on. I didn't see it on Best Buy, so I bought Echo at Best Buy, and the battery from a different online seller. With the battery, as long as you are within your Wifi range, it works perfectly. They really should make an upgraded version with this standard. I saw there is one being test marketed in India, but not sure when this will make it here.

• A:Answer We ours located in our retail store and the volume is adequate. We don't play music files saved on the computer, but we do play several different channels from the internet. No membership that I know of needed. Setup was easy. Just be sure to read the instructions.

• A:Answer Hi, The instructions say you can. I haven’t tried it but so far this has been a fun device with decent sound. My toddler granddaughters have been able to get it to play whatever they want. I bought 2 and I can have it announce on the other one whatever I want. It records me and repeats it on the other end. I’m guessing that when you ask it to respond a certain way it will probably record your voice. Sorry hope you find a clearer response
