You do need WiFi and Bluetooth. Does that help. You have Bluetooth with your phone.

You could possibly use your phones Hotspot but as soon as your phone goes out of range etc or signal weakens it would disable alexa. She displays a red ring when she doesn't have internet. And I think that would be unstable connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I believe so because she connects to the wifi during set up. She turns red if wifi isn't connected or working. Her information she uses comes from online. So to utilize her features I would say yes.
