Can echo dot talk to simplysafe security system. null

Minimal interaction with SS. IT’s why I got rid of SS. Its not Echo/Alexa’s problem. SS has minimal interaction with all smart assistants. Pretty much arm/disarm…that’s it. I need something to flash lights when the alarm sounds due to hearing issues. Can’t do that with SS. It doesn’t interact with smart home systems.

Yes it can. There is a SimpliSafe Skill in the Alexa App which you can enable to control your security system. Once you enable that Skill, you can ask Alexa to arm and disarm your system. There are numerous other actions you can do using the Simplisafe Skill on your new Echo Dot. Have a great day!
