Hi SCASS! The Echo Dot 5th Gen does feature Bluetooth, and you can still talk to Alexa while streaming from another device. Generally when I've done this talking to Alexa will lower the sound coming from your streaming device, but nothing will be muted unless you tell it to. For music streaming, you can also choose which services to use when you ask Alexa to play music via the Alexa app. This means you can connect services like Apple Music, Spotify or Tidal to play directly from the device.
