- Answer Hi there! Duo isn't an option on the Echo Show currently, however, you can video chat with anyone that has a smart phone (IOS 9.0 or higher/Android 5.0 or higher), Skype or another echo show on this device. Hope this helps!

- Answer Hi Curious, You can ask Alexa to show you recipes while cooking. Most recipes have videos that can play with it, but you can use your voice and ask Alexa to go to the next step in the recipe. She will read you the steps and will stay on the specific step until you ask her to go to the next one. No need to scroll! I hope this helps!

She would have the ability to use your account for things, so if you are worried about purchases being made, I would create a PIN to make sure purchases are verified by you or create a new Amazon account for your mother. - Answer Yes. I gave my daughter an Echo Show (1st gen), and she video chats on our Echo Show (2nd gen) seamlessly. Just make a contact list on the Echo show. After that, tell it to call...”Bob”. If Bob is in your contacts it will ask if you want to call their phone, or their Echo device. Tell it their Echo device, and Bingo! Enjoy!
