A:AnswerYes, our 2nd generation show works really well with our Blink security cameras. Set up was easy and all we have to do is ask Alexa to go to whichever camera we want to view and we quickly have a live view from that specific camera.
A:AnswerHi, Do you need the stand???? I would go ahead and say yes. You can see some things okay, but there was never a time where I could see my 3 year old except the top of his head. If it were on a stand I would probably be able to see him just fine. The way the Show screen is angled, it causes the camera to be angled upwards too. I would go ahead and get the stand, IF your going to choose to get the SHOW. Read reviews on the show, it's not the greatest Amazon device. I would just get the Philips Hue Hub and maybe try the Echo or google assistant.
A:AnswerYou don't need to cast YouTube from your phone. You can pull it right up on your Show. We've watched YouTube videos numerous times directly from the Show. We have been unable to watch Netflix or YouTuve TV directly on our show, but I believe that is a sharing issue between Amazon and Netflix/YouTube TV. You can watch plenty of videos and movies from Amazon on the show though, and the picture quality is really quite good.
