She doesn’t need one. If you have one great. Connect and setup at home. Deliver and ask the facility to consecrate it to the wifi

You do not need a smart phone but you will need a google account set up for you. You will also need a WiFi
 connection. You can make video calls. It is pretty easy to setup and make video calls. I use it all the time to make video calls with my daughter and grand-kids.
