My mother is almost deaf. Can the video from another echo sho closed caption so she can read what we are saying to her? null

Can anyone explain why the Echo Show call captioning technology is offered in the US but not in Canada? If I can voice to text on my cell phone, why is not possible for the Echo Show to offer this as well regardless of whether you live in the US or Canada?

Hi! I’m not too sure about that. But, I bought it to call my parents. My dad is deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other. When we call him on the phone, he can’t really hear us at all, extremely frustrating and we tend not to call as much as we want to. But when I got him this, I also bought a Bluetooth speaker thinking it would be better sound for him than the telephone. But I didn’t even need the Bluetooth speaker. The volume on this is amazing and my dad can hear it great!! I would definitely give it a try!

Unfortunately, this is not a feature of the Echo Show.
