• Can you call a line number? Yes. Could you replace your landline or cell phone with alexa show? Maybe. It uses the contacts from your google account.

• It uses an app you download on a smart phone to control a lot of functions. I’m not sure it would function without it actually. So a landline wouldn’t work.
