I don't think you would download apps in the traditional sense. If there is a skill available for your arlo, you can enable it. I know Wyze & Ring have skills. You can view your cameras as well as control other smart devices in their respective smart ecosystem for example.

You can't download apps to the Echo Show 8, but you can enable skills in your Alexa app. Enabling he Arlo skill will allow you would have access to your Arlo cameras, doorbells, and security lights using voice commands. You could ask Alexa to show your a certain camera on your Echo Show 8 and it will let you view it on the screen. To enable this skill, go to the Alexa app and search under Skills and Games for "Arlo".
