“My new Fire 10 is fading every now and then while I am using it. Fades down and then brightens up again in a few secs. Any one else having this happen?”

Have you gone into your Settings portal on the main programming screen and checked your display settings? Under Display within the Settings folder, you find several options, including Adaptive Brightness as well as Display Brightness. Check those settings to see if your issue is coming from that. Adaptive brightness optimizes the brightness level based on the available light in which you are operating. Check to see if that setting is "on" or "off."
