• If the Nook app is through Google, it's a lot easier to "hack" the tablet to allow Google Play apps. Take a look online and you'll see it's pretty easy.

• Yes you can. While I have never done it, you can run the Nook app on a Kindle Fire. If you search the internet, there are instructions there. I would suggest you enter "Can I transfer books from my Nook to a Kindle?" and it should pull up instructions.
