No you don't have to pay Amazon when you're on your tablet to go on Facebook and Pinterest

This means that the apps are purchased through the amazon app store, note many popular apps are there--- pinterest and facebook, they may vary slightly in use/features from apple/MS implementation. If you choose Apps from MS store, they are hit or miss based on your success to load them on sideways. The browser used is silk.
